Telugu super news,December 18,2023:More than 50,000 underrepresented Indian school students in grades 9-12 are set to benefit from a Schools Engagement Program to promote social mobility and career advancement, as the University of Melbourne joins community and government partners in Andhra Pradesh to expand the transformative initiative.

The Schools Engagement Program integrates into the students’ curriculum, with modules underpinned by positive psychology and coaching to help them understand themselves and the career paths of interest to them, and of use to their communities. 

This builds the students’ awareness, aspirations and agency, with increased levels of self-confidence, self-esteem and self-management reported, as well as an improved ability to make informed decisions and plans.

The University is partnering with the Government of Andhra Pradesh, Department of School Education, Rotary International Districts in Zone 7, Rotary India Literacy Mission, and Samaghra Shiksha, Andhra Pradesh, to support the program, delivered by Global Education Solutions. 

The Schools Engagement Program launched in 2019 and has already reached 8237 students and supported 178 teachers and around 15,000 parents, care providers and guardians. The program has run in ten schools in Pune and nine schools in Madurai. 

University of Melbourne Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Global, Culture and Engagement) Professor Michael Wesley said he is proud of the University’s ongoing commitment to innovative educational solutions in India.

“The Schools Engagement Program is one of the most important partnerships we have piloted in India and the enduring impact it has had on the lives of young people, particularly disadvantaged girls, inspires us to replicate it in as many schools as possible,” Professor Wesley said.

“It helps local students, and their parents and guardians, explore what is possible in their future careers as we expand the program from 8000 to a projected 50,000 by the end of 2024.”

Planning is also underway for further expansion of the Schools Engagement Program into other regions in India.

Ather Energy opens its first Experience Centre at Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh

Telugu super news,Srikakulam,August 1st, 2023: Ather Energy, India’s leading electric scooter manufacturer, inaugurated its Experience Centre, Ather Space, in Srikakulam. This is Ather’s ninth Experience Centre in Andhra Pradesh and its 137th in the country. Ather Space will retail the Ather 450X Pro, one of India’s quickest and smartest scooters, alongside the Ather 450X. 

With the inauguration of this Experience Centre, Ather also rolls out a new, more compact design of their otherwise large-format outlets. While the large format Ather Space in a prominent location would generally be 1500-1800 sq.ft, these outlets are designed to cover a slightly smaller area between 600-900 sq.ft. The experience and the services will continue to be exactly the same, allowing customers to learn more about electric vehicles while providing a holistic experience in an interactive space. 

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Ravneet Singh Phokela, Chief Business Officer, Ather Energy, said, “We have been receiving a phenomenal response to our scooters since the launch of the first Experience Centre in Visakhapatnam in October 2021. During this period, over 50% of air conditions sold were premium WindFree™ ACs. The company expects to continue the growth momentum in the second half of the year.

In addition to beautiful designs, Samsung’s 2023 range of air conditioners boasts of smart features such as Welcome Cooling and Voice Control. To address the increase in adoption of smart gadgets, the 2023 air conditioner lineup has 31 Wi-Fi-enabled models, out of which 14 models come with AI Energy Mode. AI Energy Mode uses artificial intelligence to analyze the user’s energy consumption and gives real time insights to keep the energy consumption in check based on user’s preference.

Samsung’s 5-star rating air conditioners are energy efficient and offer a higher range of maximum cooling capacity with bigger and sturdier outdoor unit, which enables not only powerful cooling but also perfect comfort. To enable a clean indoor environment, the in-built air purifier in select models of the new range comes with a 4-in-1 PM 2.5 air filter with advanced filtration technology. 4-in-1 Care Filter provides optimal protection by filtering out ultra-fine dust and sterilizing bacteria, viruses, and allergens.
