Telugu super news,National, 2023: PhonePe, today announced the launch of the Indus Appstore Developer Platform. With this launch, Indus Appstore is inviting all Android app developers to register and upload their apps using the self-serve developer platform www.indusappstore.com. These apps will be listed on the soon to be launched “Made-in-India” Indus Appstore, offering a localized experience in 12 languages, completely customized for Indian audiences.

App listings on the Indus Appstore Developer Platform will be free for the first year, post which a nominal annual fee will apply. The Indus Appstore will not charge developers any platform fee or commission for In-App Payments. Developers will be free to integrate any payment gateway of their choice inside their own apps.

In a significant milestone, for the first time, the Bank’s quarterly revenue grew to INR 400 Cr for Q1’FY24, an increase of 41% YoY. For the Q1’FY24, the Bank’s profits grew by 143% on YoY.

The customer deposits grew to INR 1,922 Cr, fueled by a healthy addition of new users. The Bank now has 55.4 Mn monthly transacting users, an annualised gross merchandise value (GMV) of INR 2,381 Bn and revenue of over INR 1,600 Cr on an annual basis.

For the Bank, this growth in revenues is driven by strong uptake for its digital offerings comprising digital banking solutions and financial services. The Bank registered a strong demand for its customized plans, which allow the savings bank account customers of the Bank to get additional benefits like insurance on an annual basis by making an additional payment.
