STUDENTS DON THE MANTLE OF LEADERSHIP AT DPS, NACHARAM.

Telugu super news,Hyderabad,June 30,2023:Titles don’t make you a leader, impact does –    The momentous occasion of investing the newly elected prefectorial board of Delhi Public School, Nacharam was held on 30 June 2023 with great zeal and enthusiasm in the school premises. Chief guest Mr. Sarfaraz Ahmad, Director Prohibition and Excise, Chairman Mr. Komaraiah, Director Ms. Pallavi, Chief Operating Officer Mr. Yasasvi Malka graced the occasion with their benign presence. Commandant Vijay Kumar Verma, Navy Commandant Praveen, Dy. Commandant. Ajay Bali and Dy. Commandant Kamlesh Bali were the guests of honour.

The ceremony commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp, followed by RICER – a dance performance by Cambridge students. Senior Principal and Deputy Director R&R Ms. Sunitha Rao delivered the welcome address and stated the school’s achievements. She shed light on the elaborate and stringent process of student council elections­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­. Senior Vice Principal Ms. Nandita Sunkara and Vice Principal Ms. Gowri Venkatesh introduced the chief guests and guests of honor for the day. A spectacular yoga and G 20 presentation by students of grades 1to 8 was followed by unfurling of school flag by the dignitaries. The rhythmic movements of the march past contingents evinced the orderliness, discipline and team spirit of the council members. ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Topaz House was awarded the best contingent. After the pipping of badges, chief guest Mr. Sarfaraz Ahmed administered the oath as the proud parents and teachers cheered on.

Addressing the office bearers, chairman Mr. Komaraiah advised them to work with a spirit of unity in the interest of students at large. An interactive talk show by the tiny student leaders of Early Years mesmerized the audience. ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Chief guest Mr. Sarfaraz Ahmed advised the students to be inquisitive, ask questions and think innovatively. He further told them to inculcate a sense of respect in their conversation with elders which helps them to grow as responsible individuals. Fusion dance and Martial art showcase enthralled the audience. DPS Chimes – a quarterly news letter crafted by the literary council was released by the dignitaries. Students and teachers of Grades XII, X and CAIE who achieved exemplary results in the board exams were felicitated.

The Head boy CBSE, Krishna Sameer and Head girl CAIE, Anoushka reflected upon the opportunities provided by the school and expressed ecstasy on the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in them.

Mr. Yasasvi Malka, the young, dynamic, chief operating officer and alumni of the school encouraged the prefects to be humble, accountable and perform their duties to the best of their abilities. The glorious program ended with a vote of thanks by the head girl of the school – Aastha Maheswari.
