DAZN to open Technology Centre of Excellence at Hyderabad

• Technology Centre of Excellence (COE) to focus on Sports Streaming Technology play
• Investment outlay of Rs. 200 crores for India Development Centre, spread over 1 Lakh Square Feet
• Headcount to be 1000 by Dec. 2023 & ~2500 by Dec. 2024

Telugu super news,Hyderabad, May 26th, 2023: DAZN (https://www.dazn.com/en-IN/home), the leading global sports streaming service, has announced establishment of a major Technology Centre of Excellence (COE) in Hyderabad. The COE is coming up on their new sprawling 1Lakh square feet office and focus on Sports Streaming Technologies.

The DAZN aims to invest Rs. 200 crores on this new India Development Centre in Hyderabad and recruit 1000 people by December 2023. Having started operations around five months ago, the company already has over 350 people working who recently moved to a state-of-the art office. This number will be further ramped up to ~2500 by December 2024.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Shay Segev, CEO – DAZN Group said: “We are very happy to set up the Technology COE in Hyderabad. The additional technical capability that it provides will accelerate our development roadmap to become the ultimate sports entertainment company. Over 350+ employees at DAZN Group in Hyderabad participated in a formal office inauguration at The Aurobindo Galaxy, Hyderabad Knowledge City; with unveiling of DAZN logo and Town Hall with the employees.
