Hyderabad, August 1st,2023 : Hyderabad is all set to host two mega sporting events-the prestigious IAU 50km World Championships 2023, which will be held for the first time in India, and the Ageas Federal Life Insurance Hyderabad Half Marathon 2023. Both events will take place on November 05, 2023.
The IAU 50km World Championships 2023, which is in affiliation with the International Association of Ultra Runners (IAU) and the Athletics Federation of India (AFI),and is organised by NEB Sports,will see participants from several countries, including the USA, Germany, Japan, Chinese Taipei, New Zealand, Australia, Great Britain, and India.
It not only marks the first time that India will be hosting any Ultra Running World Championship butwill also have open category entries from World Master Athletics, allowing individual runners to participate. The event is supported by the popular Hyderabad Runners, who have ignited the running culture in Hyderabad.
The Ageas Federal Life Insurance Hyderabad Half Marathon 2023, also organised by NEB Sports, has 3 different categories – 21.1K (Half Marathon), 10K and 5K. Sachin Tendulkar, Brand Ambassador of Ageas Federal,and Padma Bhushan Pullela Gopichand, will flag off each of the races. Rotary Club of Lake District, Moinabad will be the Social Service Partner for this edition and will be looking to raise funds for their cause.

రాయబారి ప్రసంగిస్తూ, రెండు దేశాల మధ్య మనకు లోతైన చరిత్ర ఉంది. అలాగే, తెలంగాణతో కూడా. అందుకే మేము భారతదేశంలో రెండవ కాన్సులేట్‌ను హైదరాబాద్‌లో ప్రారంభించాము. ఇది చాలా ముఖ్యమైనదని ఆయన అన్నారు.

The General Atlantic investment marks the first tranche of an upto $1 billion total fundraise that PhonePe has commenced in January 2023. Other new marque global and Indian investors have already been signed up for the second tranche, which is expected to close next month. The fundraise follows PhonePe’s recently announced change of domicile to India and full separation from Flipkart.
PhonePe plans to deploy the new funds to make significant investments in infrastructure, including the development of data centers and help build financial services offerings at scale in the country. The company also plans to invest in new businesses, including Insurance, Wealth Management, and Lending. The fundraise is expected to support PhonePe as it seeks to turbo-charge the next wave of growth for UPI payments in India, including UPI lite and Credit on UPI to enable greater financial inclusion for Indians.
Founded in December 2015, PhonePe has become a home-grown success story, with the company’s significant expansion powered by India’s emerging digital ecosystem. By building products and offerings tailored for the Indian market, PhonePe today has over 400 million registered users, meaning that more than one in four Indians are on PhonePe. The company has also successfully digitized over 35 million offline merchants spread across Tier 2, 3, and 4 cities and beyond, covering 99% of pin codes in the country.

PhonePe also recently announced a full separation from the Flipkart Group. After a partial separation from Flipkart in December 2020, a number of Flipkart shareholders, led by Walmart, acquired shares in the recent separation. This move will allow both companies to chart their own growth paths, build their businesses independently, and help unlock and maximize enterprise value for shareholders of the two companies.
Telugu super news,India, December 2, 2022: Nxtra Data Limited (“Nxtra by Airtel”), a subsidiary of Bharti Airtel (Airtel) started the construction of its new hyper-scale data centre in Kolkata. The company will invest Rs 600 Cr in the development of the largest data centre in East India that will serve the underserved markets of east and north-east regions along with the SAARC countries and fulfill the growing needs of enterprises and global cloud players.
The groundbreaking ceremony was graced by Shri Babul Supriyo, Hon’ble Minister for Information Technology, Electronics and Tourism, Government of West Bengal, Shri Debashis Sen, IAS (Retd), Managing Director, West Bengal Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (WBHIDCO), Shri Rajeev Kumar, Principal Secretary of Information Technology and Electronics department and Mr. Rajesh Tapadia, Executive Director & Chief Operating Officer, Nxtra by Airtel.
The 25 MW facility will come up in New Town, Kolkata and will be fully operational by 2024. In line with company’s commitment to environment and its ambition to reach net zero by 2031, the new centre will be a green facility, sourcing clean energy for running its operations. Once ready, it will be Nxtra’s 1st large- scale facility in east India in addition to its already existing 12 large and 120 edge facilities across India. The new centre will further cement Nxtra’s position as the nation’s largest network of data centres.

Nxtra by Airtel is on an expansion spree and will invest over Rs 5000 cr. over the next four years to expand its capacity by 3X to over 400 MW. The company has already invested and partnered with eight organisations to source more than 180,000 MWh of renewable energy. Nxtra has the ambition to reach net zero by 2031.
