Samridhi Dewan from Sony LIV’s Good Bad Girl emphasizes the importance of diplomacy!

Telugu Super Hyderabad, October13,2022: Fans have been anticipating the arrival of the series, Good Bad Girl since its teaser hit Sony LIV. The lively, humorous, and multi-dimensional show centered on a female protagonist will soon be available on the OTT platform. The show features Samridhi Dewan as the lead along with Gul Panag, Vaibhav Raj Gupta, Sheeba Chadha, Aradhya Anjana, Namrata Sheth, Rajendra Sethi, and Zain Khan amongst others.

Samridhi Dewan plays Maya Ahuja, whose idea of truth is that it often invites problems. So, when half-truths or lies take their place, life becomes simpler. She has lived by the motto since her childhood and has a firm belief in it. However, her life becomes a roller-coaster journey when she continuously lies, and the situation is hard to handle. Maya Ahuja, played by Samridhi Dewan, feels that expressing the truth often causes problems, but when the truth is disguised beneath a lie, the situation turns upside down. She has held firm ideas about this concept since her childhood. However, in adulthood, her life becomes a roller-coaster ride, and the situations are tough to manage.

“The multi-layered writing of Samridhi’s character instantly drew me towards the show. Good Bad Girl is a female-centric show and has the feel of an anti-hero. My initial impression of Maya was that she was quite unlike me, but as I got to know her better and looked into the character, I got a thrill out of it. This is the kind of abundance I wanted to encounter in my life. A show with all the elements is uncommon and I am lucky to be a part of it.

Adding further she said, “My family is very important to me, so with that in mind, I could empathize with Maya. I really believe that diplomacy is the art of interacting with others in a delicate and considerate way. It is also crucial to recognize that, on occasion, it is acceptable to bend the truth in order to advance in life. That is how the world operates. It was a hard lesson for me to learn. But Maya is a strong, independent lady who always manages to prevail.” Helmed by Abhishek Sengupta and produced by Vikas Bahl and Anurag Shrivastava. Good Bad Girl will be streaming soon on Sony LIV.

Samridhi Dewan talks about her character in Sony LIV’s upcoming show Good Bad Girl

telugu super news,Hyderabad october 6th,2022:The trailer of Sony LIV’s upcoming original, Good Bad Girl, has piqued the audiences’ interest in the story which promises an interesting medley of characters, each with their own idiosyncrasies. Leading the pack of talented actors is Samridhi Dewan, who plays the character of Maya Ahuja, a girl whose life has been shaped by the distinctive experiences she has had through the three crucial phases of childhood, adolescence & adulthood.

Samridhi’s character Maya has grown up to be a confident and independent adult who will stop at nothing to fulfill her dreams. A lawyer by profession, she does not have any qualms about twisting situations to her advantage or exploiting others for her own personal and professional gain. She is fiercely competitive with her work nemesis, Sahil Mistry (Vaibhav Raj Gupta), and will leave no stone unturned to win at work.

However, as a young woman in college Maya also struggled to fit in like any other person of her age and that was something that Samridhi related to. The actress said, “The parts where I relate to Maya the most is in all the confusion and uncertainty she faces as she navigates through her college years. I went through all those emotions myself at some point in life in terms of feeling inadequate and inferior to my peers just because they have something that you don’t.”

Adding further, she said, “The biggest thing that Maya has lost in her life which in turn has played a massive role in how her life has turned out is her family. And that is another place where I sense a huge connection. I am very close to my family and if I ever lose them, it will create a huge impact on my life too.”

While concluding, Samridhi said, “Interestingly, the one big difference between Maya and me is that I am a very bad liar, especially when it comes to people who are close to me. I’m sure it is very easy for people to tell when I’m lying.”
