OPPO India expands Send-in Repair service to 25,000 pin codes, announces 24-hour repair turnaround time (TAT)

Telugu super news,Telangana, November 1, 2023: OPPO India revolutionises after-sales service with its Service Centre 3.0, which expands its reach across India to cover 25,000 PIN codes with its pick-up and drop service.

As part of this programme, the brand has also fine-tuned process efficiencies to guarantee a quick 24-hour TAT (turnaround time) for 80% of all smartphone repairs, including software issues, screen and battery replacement, speaker damage, and touchscreen malfunction.

The Customer Service 3.0 initiative, introduced last year, already provides one-hour onsite repairs for select devices, new product demonstrations, free pick-up and drop, and debit/credit cards-based bank EMI options on repairs, among several other benefits. OPPO India also provides transparent, real-time repairs where customers can view OPPO technicians fixing their devices in front of their eyes.

Under the 24-hour send-in repair service, customers can schedule a free pick-up and drop for their smartphone by submitting the Send-in repair form on the OPPO India website; here, they will need to enter the device IMEI number and registered mobile number along with the pick-up address. OPPO India’s 24-hour repair TAT starts once the device reaches the service centre. 

Customers will receive regular updates through SMS and WhatsApp to inform them of the repair progress. In cases where devices are picked up from remote areas, the pick-up, repairs, and delivery are completed between 5 and 7 days. OPPO India Customers can also communicate with @OPPOCareIN on Twitter or Facebook to avail of the Send-in repair service.

OPPO India has also announced festive offers* at its service centres—commencing on November 6 till November 10—to include a 25% discount on repairs for display, mainboard, and battery, and a 10% discount on phone accessories, free protective film, back cover and its phone disinfection service.

Furthermore, to cater exclusively to customers of its Find N2 Flip and Find N3 Flip foldables, OPPO India provides premium service with international warranty rights, an exclusive helpline with dedicated support, and bank debit/credit card EMI for repairs. 

For the Find N3 Flip, the smartphone maker provides additional premium services such as a 2-hour flash fix at OPPO service centres and a replacement service for its screen guard and back cover. Plus, a 15% discount on screen replacements under warranty.

The smartphone OEM has a wide presence of more than 550 authorised service outlets throughout the country and has already upgraded 24 of its authorised service centres to meet the Service Centre 3.0 standards in cities including Chandigarh, Kochi, Calicut, Calicut, Thrissur, Lucknow, Agra, Madurai, Bilaspur, Baramati, Hyderabad, Delhi NCR, Jaipur, and Visakhapatnam. OPPO plans to upgrade 40 more service centres to the new 3.0 standard by the end of 2024.

OPPO India empowers 10,000 rural women as ‘Cyber Sanginis’ through partnership with MeitY’s Common Services Centres

Telugu Super News,India, 2023: OPPO India and CSC Academy join forces to empower rural and semi-urban women through the Cyber Sangini programme, which is supported by the Ministry of Electronics & IT. This initiative, which will train 10,000 women in cybersecurity and cyber wellness, aims to equip them with the skills and knowledge needed to become certified Cyber Security Ambassadors. On completion of the 45-day course, participants will receive a certificate from NIELIT that will open doors to employment and livelihood opportunities in their localities.

The Cyber Sanginis will be trained about the existing laws and frameworks available to every citizen to protect them from such cyber incidents. In line with OPPO’s vision of “Technology for Mankind and Kindness for World”, these women shall be allowed to collect a nominal fee from the citizens for their support in addressing cybersecurity and cyber wellness issues to make them self-sufficient. Sharing the values of MEITY’s Stay Safe Online, the Cyber Sangini programme aims to raise awareness among citizens to stay safe in an online world, especially with the widespread use of social media and the rapid adoption of digital payments. The course covers the precautions that need to be taken by every Internet user when it comes to reporting any incident of cyberattack, cyberbullying, stealing data and loss of business/reputation.
