IndiGo commences direct daily flights between Hyderabad and Bangkok

With the launch of this new route, IndiGo has become the first Indian carrier to introduce direct connectivity between the historical city of Hyderabad and the capital city of Thailand. These flights will provide a seamless travel experience and enhance accessibility across Southeast Asia, thereby strengthening economic ties between the nations. IndiGo now operates 37 weekly flights between India and Bangkok.

IndiGo expands connectivity to Middle East with new direct flights between Dubai and Surat

Telugu super news,National, January 25, 2024: IndiGo, India’s preferred airline, has announced direct flights between Dubai and Surat. These flights will operate tri-weekly w.e.f. February 23, 2024. The addition of this strategic route to the 6E network is designed to facilitate seamless travel for tourists and business travellers and enhance bilateral economic growth and relations between India and the UAE. With the addition of this flight, Surat becomes the second city in Gujarat, with direct connectivity to Dubai on the IndiGo network. Moreover, starting from February 22, 2024, additional frequencies will be introduced on the Hyderabad-Dubai route.

Currently, IndiGo operates to 49 cities domestically and 8 cities internationally from Hyderabad including Dhaka, Doha, Dubai, Sharjah, Riyadh, Dammam, Muscat and Kuwait City.

Additionally as part of strengthening sustainable operations at Hyderabad, IndiGo has also deployed 7 new electric buses with zero carbon emissions at Hyderabad airport. IndiGo is committed to an ESG strategy that balances ambition and the practical limitations of the aviation sector. In 2021, IndiGo reduced emissions via ground support equipment automation, adopting  solutions in passenger and freight services such as ‘modified baggage BFL for cabin loading’, using 10-tonne electrical tug instead of 20-tonne and battery operated baggage freight loader.

IndiGo introduces a global-first, innovative “Three-Point Disembarkation System”

IndiGo, India’s leading carrier, today introduced a new revolutionary Three Point Disembarkation process which will enable its customers to exit the aircraft faster than ever before. The new Three Point Disembarkation process will be carried out from two forward and one rear exit ramp, making IndiGo the first airline in the world to use this process.

This novel Three Point Disembarkation process will help IndiGo set new standards in customer experience on its 16th anniversary.

IndiGo-introduces

This new disembarkation procedure will be implemented on IndiGo’s A320 and A321 fleet for flights arriving at remote stands at Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru airports to begin with, and will be progressively deployed across the network.
