BYD India inaugurates its third showroom forpassenger vehicles in India

Warren Buffett-backed automaker BYD today announced the opening of its third showroom for passenger vehicles in India. The showroom is located in Hyderabad and will be managed by Mody BYD. During the opening event, two electric MPVs, the All-New e6, have been delivered to customers.

The showroom was inaugurated by Nihar Mody, Managing Director of Mody Group, Parth  Modi Executive Director  of Mody Group, Sanjay Gopalakrishnan, Senior Vice President of Electric Passenger Vehicle Business of BYD India, and E Janaiah, Managing Director of TSREDCO in the presence of senior officials of BYD India and Mody BYD.

Mody Group will offer consumers in Telangana access to BYD’s pure electric vehicles. With considerable experience in the automobile industry, Mody Group has extensive reach with its business covering neighboring regions. Residents of Hyderabad will now be able to purchase world-class models within the city.

Spreading across 3500 square feet, the showroom has well-trained technicians,  service equipment, service bays, EV charging stations, a customer lounge area and a showroom display floor, offering customers the best in-store experience in the center of the city.

The Indian government is targeting 30% EV penetration for the PV segment by 2030 and aiming to achieve net-zero emissions by 2070. Driven by these goals, BYD will constantly work closely with its partners to provide localized and green products for the local market.
