Eleven women entrepreneurs from Hyderabad empowered through 91Springboard and Google for Startups ‘Level Up’ program

Telugu Super News,Hyderabad, March 4th, 2023: 91Springboard, one of India’s leading coworking communities in partnership with Google for Startups (GfS) selected eleven women entrepreneurs from Hyderabad for the first Cohort of their ‘Level Up’ program. This is a countrywide virtual accelerator program that allows women entrepreneurs to fund their startups and grow their businesses. These women entrepreneurs run tech businesses in the fields of healthcare, education, environment, software and internet, transportation and other industries. They have had the benefit of receiving guidance and mentorship from some of the best industry experts, which will help them scale up their businesses and establish their brands as prominent players in the Indian startup ecosystem.

The ‘Level Up Program’ is aimed at offering insights and guidance from accomplished mentors from Google and other leading corporations to women led startups. The mentors acted as sounding boards, and worked with the women founders on their challenges and to work out strategies to scale their business from X to 10X. 71 mentors provided masterclasses, peer meetups, tools and expertise for three months to build and scale their businesses. The cohort 1 was started in August 2022 where 183 women entrepreneurs were shortlisted from over 366 applications and will conclude now on February 25. Through the course of the program, 200+ hours were spent on mentoring the founders with 12+ hours in formal networking. The peer meetups were held at 91Springboard hubs across India.

Anand Vemuri, CEO, 91Springboard, said: “Lately, we have witnessed a surge of women entrepreneurs becoming self-reliant and independent. It is great that our government is supporting them and we at 91Springboard are doing our bit. 91Springboard believes in nurturing growth through learning opportunities. This collaboration with GfS for Level Up will boost the confidence of the founders and assist them in their journey. We have received an overwhelming response from tier I as well as from tier II cities which is a step closer to bridge the gap for our women founders and their vision for a smarter living.”

Nicole Yap, Partnership Manager, Google for Startups, added: “It is our abiding belief at Google that to build universally relevant and helpful solutions, the companies and ecosystems building this have to be fully inclusive and diverse. Women founders still comprise a very small fraction of the overall pie and we think programs that facilitate and enable this representation are very timely and highly important. We are pleased to collaborate with 91Springboard for this. Through our programs we wish to reach larger audiences and enhance homegrown businesses.”

Women entrepreneurs have been integral to the Indian economy’s transformational journey. While there was slow momentum in terms of women founders initially, India has witnessed an upsurge in women establishing successful businesses over the last couple of years. Therefore, supporting them leads to a better and more dynamic entrepreneurship environment, creates jobs, and imparts new perspectives to businesses.

తెలుగు సూపర్ న్యూస్,హైదరాబాద్,మార్చి 4, 2023: భారతదేశంలోని ప్రముఖ కోవర్కింగ్ కమ్యూనిటీలలో ఒకటైన 91 స్ప్రింగ్‌ బోర్డ్, గూగుల్ ఫర్ స్టార్టప్స్ (జిఎఫ్‌ఎస్) భాగస్వామ్యంతో హైదరాబాద్ నుండి పదకొండు మంది మహిళా పారిశ్రామికవేత్తలను తమ ‘లెవల్ అప్’ ప్రొగ్రామ్ మొదటి గ్రూప్ కోసం ఎంపిక చేశారు. ఇది దేశవ్యాప్త వర్చువల్ యాక్సిలరేటర్ ప్రోగ్రామ్. ఇది మహిళా పారిశ్రామికవేత్తలు తమ స్టార్టప్‌లకు నిధులు సమకూర్చ డానికి, వారు తమ వ్యాపారాలను పెంచుకోవడానికి వీలు కల్పిస్తుంది. ఈ మహిళా పారిశ్రామికవేత్తలు ఆరోగ్య సంరక్షణ, విద్య, పర్యావరణం, సాఫ్ట్‌ వేర్, ఇంటర్నెట్, రవాణా, ఇతర పరిశ్రమల రంగాలలో టెక్ వ్యాపారాలను నడుపుతున్నారు. కొంతమంది ఉత్తమ పరిశ్రమ నిపుణుల నుండి మార్గదర్శకత్వం   పొంద డం వల్ల వారు ప్రయోజనాలు పొందగలుగుతున్నారు.  ఇది వారు తమ వ్యాపారాలను పెంచుకునేందుకు, తమ బ్రాండ్లను భారతీయ స్టార్టప్ వ్యవస్థలో ప్రముఖమైనవిగా చేసేందుకు   సహాయపడుతుంది.

గూగుల్, ఇతర ప్రముఖ సంస్థల నుండి మహిళా నాయకత్వ స్టార్టప్‌లకు నిష్ణాతులైన సలహాదారుల నుం డి దృక్పథాలు, మార్గదర్శకత్వాన్ని అందించడం ‘లెవల్ అప్ ప్రోగ్రామ్’లక్ష్యం. సలహాదారులు మార్గదర్శ కులుగా వ్యవహరించారు, ఆయా సవాళ్ళపై మహిళా వ్యవస్థాపకులతో కలసి పని చేశారు. వారి వ్యాపారా న్ని X నుండి 10x వరకు పెంచేందుకు వ్యూహాలను రూపొందించారు. 71 మంది సలహాదారులు   వ్యాపా రాలను నిర్మించడానికి, వృద్ధి చేయడానికి మాస్టర్‌క్లాసెస్, పీర్ మీటప్‌లు, సాధనాలు, నైపుణ్యాన్ని మూడు నెలలు అందించారు. ఈ గ్రూప్ 1 ఆగస్టు 2022 లో ప్రారంభించబడింది. 366 కి పైగా దరఖాస్తుల నుండి 183 మంది మహిళా పారిశ్రామికవేత్తలు షార్ట్‌ లిస్ట్ చేయబడ్డారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమం ఫిబ్రవరి 25 న ముగుస్తుంది.

ఈ కార్యక్రమం ద్వారా, ఫార్మల్ నెట్‌వర్కింగ్‌లో 12+ గంటలతో పాటుగా మొత్తం 200+ గంటలు వ్యవస్థాపకులను మార్గనిర్దేశం చేయడానికి వెచ్చించారు. పీర్ మీటప్‌లు భారతదేశం అంతటా 91 స్ప్రింగ్‌బోర్డ్ హబ్‌లలో జరిగాయి. ఈ సందర్భంగా 91 స్ప్రింగ్‌బోర్డ్ సిఇఒ ఆనంద్ వేమూరి ఇలా అన్నారు: ‘‘ఇటీవల మహిళా పారిశ్రామికవేత్త లు స్వావలంబన సాధించడం, స్వతంత్రంగా మారడం మేం చూశాం. మన ప్రభుత్వం కూడా వారికి మద్ద తు ఇస్తోంది.  మేం 91 స్ప్రింగ్‌బోర్డ్ ద్వారా మా వంతు కృషి చేస్తున్నాం. 91 స్ప్రింగ్‌బోర్డ్ అభ్యాస అవకాశాల ద్వారా వృద్ధిని పెంపొందించడాన్ని నమ్ముతుంది. లెవల్ అప్ కోసం GFS తో ఈ సహకారం వ్యవస్థాపకుల విశ్వాసాన్ని పెంచుతుంది. తమ ప్రయాణంలో వారికి సహాయం చేస్తుంది. ప్రథమ, ద్వితీయ శ్రేణి నగరాల నుండి మాకు అధిక స్పందన వచ్చింది. మహిళా వ్యవస్థాపకులకు, తెలివిగా జీవించడానికి వారికి గల ఆశయాలకు మధ్యన అంతరాన్ని తగ్గించడానికి ఒక అడుగు ముందుకేసినట్లయింది’’.

గూగుల్ ఫర్ స్టార్టప్స్ పార్ట్ నర్ షిప్ మేనేజర్ నికోల్ యప్ ఇలా అన్నారు: “విశ్వవ్యాప్తంగా సంబంధిత, స హాయక పరిష్కారాలను నిర్మించడం, కంపెనీలు, ఆవరణ వ్యవస్థలు నిర్మించడం అనేది చేకూర్పుతో కూ డుకున్నదిగా, వైవిధ్యభరితంగా ఉండాలని గూగుల్‌  లో మేం విశ్వసిస్తుంటాం. మహిళా వ్యవస్థాపకులు ఇ ప్పటికీ మొత్తం మీద చాలా తక్కువ సంఖ్యలోనే ఉన్నారు. ఈ ప్రాతినిధ్యాన్ని సులభతరం చేసే మరియు ప్రారంభించే కార్యక్రమాలు చాలా సమయానుకూలంగా ఉన్నాయని, అవి చాలా ముఖ్యమైనవని  మేం భా విస్తున్నాం. దీని కోసం 91 స్ప్రింగ్‌బోర్డ్‌ తో సహకరించడానికి మేం సంతోషిస్తున్నాం. మా ప్రోగ్రామ్‌ల ద్వారా మేం భారీ సంఖ్యలో మహిళలను  చేరుకోవాలని, స్వదేశీ వ్యాపారాలను మెరుగుపరచాలని కోరుకుంటు న్నాం. ”

కోహార్ట్ 1 కు వచ్చిన సానుకూల స్పందన నేపథ్యంలో లెవల్ అప్ ప్రోగ్రామ్ కోహోర్ట్ 2 మార్చిలో ప్రారంభమ వుతుంది, జూలై 2023 వరకు కొనసాగుతుంది. ‘లెవల్ అప్’ కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొనాలనుకునే మహిళా పారిశ్రామికవేత్తలు ఇక్కడ నమోదు చేసుకోవచ్చు: కోహార్ట్ II దరఖాస్తు ఫారం.

మహిళా పారిశ్రామికవేత్తలు భారతీయ ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థ పరివర్తన ప్రయాణంలో భాగంగా ఉంటున్నారు. ప్రారం భంలో మహిళా వ్యవస్థాపకుల పరంగా ఈ పయనం మందకొడిగా ఉన్నప్పటికీ, గత కొన్ని సంవత్సరాలు గా విజయవంతమైన వ్యాపారాలను స్థాపించే మహిళల సంఖ్య భారతదేశంలో పెరిగింది. అందువల్ల, వారికి మద్దతు ఇవ్వడం మంచి, మరింత డైనమిక్ వ్యవస్థాపకత వాతావరణానికి దారితీస్తుంది, ఉద్యోగాలు సృష్టి స్తుంది, వ్యాపారాలకు కొత్త దృక్పథాలను ఇస్తుంది.

TiE Hyderabad wins the coveted Award for ‘Best Support to Women Entrepreneurs’ at TiE Chapter Global Retreat in Italy

TiE Chapter Global Retreat in Italy

TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs), the internationally prominent NPO devoted to the growth of entrepreneurs has recently witnessed its global flagship TiE Global Retreat at Rome, Italy. TiE Global Board of Trustees bestowed the prestigious ‘Best Support to Women Entrepreneurs’ Award to TiE Hyderabad chapter. This is in recognition of the city chapter’s brilliance in diversity and empowerment, with over 100 successful women entrepreneurs to corroborate the chapter’s triumph. Among other competing chapters were TiE New York, TiE Dubai, TiE South California, TiE London, TiE Atlanta, TiE Delhi, TiE Bangalore, to name a few. These awards were meticulously evaluated by TiE Global Board of Trustees including Mr. B.J Arun, Chairman – TiE Global, and Ms. Smitha Sidhanti, Past Co-Chair- TiE Women, among others.

The award was bestowed to TiE Hyderabad, which was contending against 40 national and international TiE chapters. TiE Hyderabad has a robust system for the development of its women entrepreneurs with structured mentorship programs which have manifested highly successful entrepreneurs. Through these bootcamps and mentor sessions, numerous female-driven startups have showcased progressive results. From its mock pitching sessions to one-on-one clinical mentoring, the sessions were comprehensive and are designed to engage key investors.  In a span of 2 mere years, TiE Hyderabad chapter has impacted over 200 women-led startups, molding them into successfully running businesses and raising funds through Shark Tank India. The entrepreneurs represent startups of different stages and sectors, ranging from manufacturing to Biosciences, Fashion to Social enterprise, Agri & Biotech to Edutech.

The TiE Hyderabad chapter is proud to host the upcoming TiE Global Summit from the 12th-14th of December 2022 in Hyderabad, which will also feature the TiE Women Conclave’s Semi-finalists and finalists. The 40+ finalists from diverse chapters will come together to compete on 12th December 2022 from 1 winner among the 6 finalists will be chosen to win the conclave and win $100K equity-free cash prizes.

TiE Chapter Global Retreat in Italy

The Summit is likely to witness over 2,500 delegates from diverse entrepreneurial ecosystem raging from start-ups to established organizations including powerful international and national female speaker line and close to 200+ women entrepreneurs are expected to attend the event.
